The Northcore™ fish is based on the old school retro designs but with the benefit of modern shaping knowledge. The Fish is the perfect solution to those small to medium size days when the swell isn't perfect as the thicker volume of the boards combined with a template designed for down the line speed will allow the rider fun in any conditions. This combined with a swallow tail means that the board is loose in turns but will bite where it's needed.

Lowrider
The Northcore™ "Lowrider" is the ultimate all rounder, designed to catch the most waves in the widest variety of conditions. The wider template and broader nose combined with a fairly flat rocker allow for easy take offs and great planing even in smaller waves. The stepped hip and swallow tail provides a fast water flow and release working perfectly with the bottom concave, generating lift and speed. This width of this tail shape also encourages faster take off, stability and can handle high performance surfing, but its equally at home for beginners. The board is also slightly thicker so it planes easily, is easy to paddle and sit on and because it has a pointed nose it will also duck dive. The rails are 50/50 shaped down to a hard rail at the tail, so the board can cruise and carve all day long.

Longboards
Northcore™ longboards have embraced the revolution in longboard shaping design but we've also included the classic Malibu shapes from the past in our range. The boards span from 8'6" in size through to 9'6" and include a classic shape with square tail for fast water release and floatation with softer rails for tracking across the face, an ideal board for smaller waves. We also shape more progressive longboards with a choice of squash or rounded pin tails and 50/50 rails for smoother turning. The progressive boards are great performers in 1-6ft surf.

Northcore™ custom funboards are a great all round option and are ideal for beginners and intermediates and those smaller summer wave days. The board benefits from a rounded nose shape, with a full template, 50/50 rails, a flat rocker, the board is fairly thick, with a single concave for lift, a squash tail shape and FCS thruster set up. When all this stacks up the Northcore™ funboard, catches waves easily, floats and planes well, paddles easily and turns effortlessly. A great first board or an addition to the quiver for small days.

Egg
The Northcore™ Egg is essentially a scaled down longboard which has width and is easy to paddle and catch waves on. The template and 50/50 rail means the rider doesn't have to have to adjust foot positioning as much as a mini mal or longboard. These boards a fitted with a three fin adjustable fin set up with centre box, so can be ridden as either single or tri-fin allowing the rider maximum options. The bottom shape is a single concave through to a vee giving lift and speed. These boards are great from timming and executing stylish bottom turns- a class board.

Northcore™ shortboards are shaped for performance orientated surfing, the narrow template, the harder rails and thruster fins all amount to speed, hard carving turns and radical manoeuvres. However not all days are spitting Hossegor pits so these boards do possess characteristics which enable them to work in the widest variety of conditions, with a squash tail and single concave providing flexibility whilst still being able to perform in steep barrelling waves.
