Jo Morris

Jo Morris started surfing at 7 years old, with his local club in Wales - he was hooked and hasn't stopped since. Joseph joined the Surf Solutions Grom squad with surf coach Joel Gray to train, search new experiences and challenge himself in bigger waves. Even though he is young he has already surfed worldwide including France, Portugal, Florida, Hawaii and California. When he is not surfing he is skateboarding and hanging out with his friends. As Joseph gets older he wants to travel the world surfing.

Born from the ocean

When we asked Jo what his surfing career highlights are so far he said; Winning Welsh Quiksilver Nationals 2012, being selected for Welsh surf squad 2012 & 2013, being part of the Surf Solutions grom squad with his best friends and awesome coach, surfing in Hossegor France when Kelly Slater came riding out of a barrel right in front of him! surfing with and meeting all the Pros during the France Quiksilver Pro comp especially Kelly Slater, Dane Reynolds & John John Florence (who all imparted some great advice), surfing California and winning a trophy during a fun comp, with the trophy presented in front of a crowd of thousands by Donavan Frankenreiter during his live concert and the Boardmasters comp 2013 (meeting the pros, surfing & Skating with friends and the concert)
